Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged to tackle youth unemployment in Ghana through the development of a digital economy. During a campaign tour in Kpando, Volta Region, Bawumia reaffirmed his commitment to creating one million jobs by equipping Ghanaian youth with essential digital skills.

“All the youth, we need jobs. I am going to give one million youths digital skills in Ghana. Everybody, even if you are a school dropout, we can give you digital skills,” he stated. This ambitious plan is designed to tackle youth unemployment by empowering the nation’s youth to compete in the global market, irrespective of their educational background.
