The Accra High Court has granted bail to the Bono Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, after overturning an earlier remand order issued by an Accra Circuit Court.
Abronye DC was admitted to bail in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties following a successful application by his legal team.
As part of the bail conditions, the outspoken politician is required to surrender all travel documents to the court registry and report to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) every two weeks. He is also barred from travelling outside the country without express permission from the court.
